Marrara International Sports Stadium,
Abala Road, Darwin, Northern Territory
9 - 13 June 2011

Marrara Indoor Stadium is 11 km from the city of Darwin and 1 Km from Darwin Airport.  It is on Abala Road in the suburb of Marrara.  If you are interested in seeing more of the Stadium and its surrounds, go to:  http://www.mis.nt.gov.au/

The 52nd National Square Dance Convention Committee welcome all Square Dancers to the Marrara Stadium in Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia. The Convention will be held from Thursday 9 June to Monday 13 June 2011.

This is the first time that a Square Dance Convention will be held in Northern Territory and we look forward to an exciting and unusual weekend of dancing and culture.

Monday night's theme is "Old Crocs".  For those who are unsure, may we suggest that you can either come in 'Darwin casual' clothes - but be careful with your footwear, it should still be safe for dancing.  Another suggestion would be to come in Crocodile green, or as an old crocodile (not so easy methinks!), or wear one of your old square dance outfits (if you are lucky enough to be able to still fit into it!).  If anyone has any other suggestions, please let me know and I will add it to the list.

Tickets are now $120.00 per adult dancer. If you have difficulty downloading the registration form (see below), contact Marilyn Van Sambeeck on (08) 9307 7728, or email Marilyn at jefmaz@live.com.au

Registration forms are now available.  Please contact one of our Committee Members - they are in all States in Australia.

Registration
or download the form and post it with your registration fee to Marilyn Van Sambeeck, our Registrations Officer.  Her address is PO Box 1179, West Leederville.  WA.  6901.  Remember that we are not posting out receipts.  Your registration packs will be available for collection at the venue on Thursday 9 June between 12noon and 4pm.

Don't forget that all your registration packs will be available at Marrara Stadium from Thursday afternoon onwards.  We won't be sending out any, so if you are one of the lucky ones who is leaving early and touring Australia before arriving in Darwin, don't worry - we will have your pack waiting for you at the venue.

Dressed Set registrations are still open.  We are keen to see more Dressed Sets on Saturday night, so if you are thinking of getting out your sewing machine and creating some new outfits, then either email or complete the back of the registration form to let us know you are coming.
